about us

The Saint John Family Resource Centre (SJFRC) makes a positive impact on many lives each year. Parents and caregivers of children from prenatal to age six can take part in the many programs and services we provide.

Services and resources are enhanced through a wide range of local community organizations and government partners.

Families receive opportunities to socialize and learn in a comfortable, safe and relaxed setting since we began in 1984. Furthermore, support is given in a caring, friendly, and open environment free of judgment or opinion. Above all, participation in our programs is voluntary and open to all families from diverse backgrounds.

“…Playgroup is more than just a place for my children to get socialization. They get to play and learn while I get to talk to other parents… get helpful advice and tools to teach and prepare my children for school, and play with my children.” – Melissa (Read more testimonial
